Carpet & Rug Institute Seal of Approval

EcoClean Carpet Care, has been recognized by the Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) (www.carpet-rug.org) as a Seal of Approval Service Provider – the carpet cleaning industry’s most important certification. This prestigious designation is reserved for only those firms using carpet cleaning systems and products that pass the industry’s highest standards of excellence.

The Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) is the trade association representing all major carpet manufacturers. CRI member companies manufacture over 95% of all the carpeting sold each year. Since 2007, the use of equipment and cleaning solutions with the CRI “Seal of Approval” is required for all carpet still under factory warranty (carpet warranties usually last 10-20 years). Use of carpet cleaning companies not approved by CRI may void your carpet warranty.

In fact, EcoClean Carpet Care is a CRI “Authorized Service Provider” for all major carpet brands including, Shaw Floors, Mohawk and Beaulieu of America.

CRI recommends that consumers have their carpets professionally deep cleaned every 12-18 months, depending on foot traffic.

Additionally, some major carpet manufactures have specified use of Seal of Approval cleaning equipment and cleaning products in their warranties.

Industry Research by the Carpet Manufacturers has shown that the majority of WARRANTY CLAIMS ARE THE RESULT OF POOR OR IMPROPER CLEANING. Because the majority of these costly warranty issues are a result of poor or improper maintenance by the consumers, Carpet Mills are now REQUIRING THE CONSUMER FOLLOW SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE – Most Consumers are not even aware of these requirements!
